Pitch feedback and reflection

Image
I created a survey in order to get some feedback on my rationale. This is so I can see what I did well and what I could improve on in the future and in creating my final product. The first question I asked was what they thought of the layout of my pitch as the way I present m ideas is very important. I need to make my ideas sound convincing and exciting. I proceeded to ask if the way I presented my pitch was enjoyable as I need to present my ideas in a certain way to appeal to an audience. I asked what I could do to improve my pitch and was given some valid feedback. This now tells me that when pitching any ideas in the future I need to include as much information as possible and make sure to explain my ideas in better detail. Finally, I asked what I did well in my rationale and was met with positive responses telling me that I did a good job in terms of presenting and made it clear what I was talking about which is a good thing to keep up when pitching ideas in the future. I did also ...

Pitch feedback

I sent out a survey to the people I showed my pitch to so they could give me feedback and explain what I did well and anything I could improve on to make my final product the best it could be. Here I asked what they thought of the layout of my pitch and they both responded positively specifically pointing out the colour scheme. Next I asked if the way I presented my ideas was enjoyable and they both said yes. I asked what I could've doe to improve my pitch. They both said I should've shown more of the research I had done. The second person saying that I could've explained the USP in a different way although they did not elaborate on how I could do that. I asked what I did well and both participants seemed to think I explained my idea for the final product well and the second person though I explained my reasoning for them well too.  Lastly, I asked for any after thoughts and one participant responded saying I could've spoken more about colour choices.

Pitch/ Rationale

Here is my pitch for the Smile Campaign, the purpose of this rationale is to showcase some of my research and my ideas for the final advert. Rationale from Sasha805356

Audience profile

The brief states that the primary audience for this campaign is for young people, more specifically ages 15-25. The reason for this product being aimed at younger people and this specific age group is because Canon wants to encourage young people to form a brand allegiance since they are the future. The reason for bringing young people and encouraging them to get involved in photography and keep the art form alive. By knowing the key demographic of age we can assume that in terms of social grade they are D grade since a lot of these people will be students of just leaving education.

Client research

Canon is our client and they have launched a campaign titled 'Journeys'. The purpose of the company is to highlight how photography can be used artistically on its own or as a combination with other forms of media or art. The purpose of Canon as a company is to help people realise the power of their imagination and the impact that art can have. Everything they do is with the intent of inspiring and encouraging people to confidently explore their creative side and embrace their vision. They have a philosophy called the Kyosei philosophy. Kyosei is a Japanese concept that means 'living and working together for the common good'. They believe it brings to life their commitment to philosophy along with creating an environment for people to grow and thrive. Since they are the worlds leading imaging brand they want to create more advanced technology and to celebrate innovation. The outcome of this campaign must clearly relate to the title 'Journeys'. It can be created ...
