The reason for this product being aimed at younger people and this specific age group is because Canon wants to encourage young people to form a brand allegiance since they are the future. The reason for bringing young people and encouraging them to get involved in photography and keep the art form alive.
By knowing the key demographic of age we can assume that in terms of social grade they are D grade since a lot of these people will be students of just leaving education.
