25/01/22 Today I began editing the footage for my podcast. The first thing I had to do was listen through and and cut out any pauses or parts that didn't make any sense along with the parts where we went too off topic. The only tools I used were the scissor tool to cut the clips down and the pointer tool to move the clips together. I had to listen through the podcast a couple of times and it didn't end up being perfect due to previous issues that could only be fixed by rerecording but we didn't have the time to record the whole things again and so a lot of the clips needed to be cut meaning the podcast isn't very long. 28/01/22 Today I plan on beginning the editing process of my project. My goal for this session is just to find the shots that I want to use as my final shots and to cut them down where necessary such as when my actor broke character. Once I have done that if there is time left I will look for static sounds to use in the first scene. In todays lesson, I f...

18/01/22 Today we began filming our podcast. We went into the studio and set up the equipment which included logging into the apple mac in the studio and opening logic pro to record the audio on. In terms of microphones we used a RODE NR1A which is a microphone that a lot of people tend to use for podcasts. The guests and I had a conversation beforehand to make sure we knew what we were going to talk about and the order in which we were going to talk about each topic. It was very loosely scripted in the way that the intro and outro were written up but the rest was more or less unscripted, we had a list of things to talk about but we didn't have specific things within the topic written down since we wanted to create a natural conversation as we felt that would be more entertaining. We did a few takes to make sure the microphones were set to the right level and weren't peaking and to make sure the audio was adequate.  The issues that occurred during the recording is that a musi...

18/01/22  Today I aim to start the production of the Canon campaign. There are two images that I need and I aim to do as many takes as possible to make sure I get the exact shots that I want. I will need to acquire a camera and tripod from college and go along to the studio where I will be using the lights that are already in there and a mirror which is also stored in the there as a prop. I need to be sure I have enough time to set up the light and make sure the mirror is in place. I also need to be sure that my model knows what to do and that they are okay with following my directions. The first shot that I'm aiming to get is one where the model can be seen in the mirror reaching out in a dramatic manor. The second image is the model facing away from the mirror looking happy. My aim here is to represent the journey of self discovery. I feel as though I accomplished my goal of taking all the pictures that I need and also had no issue acquiring the needed equipment such as th...
